The Bayside Club Launches "Events on May Lane" Night Market for Food, Wine, Shopping and Fun in the Rosemary District!

The Bayside Club introduces ‘Events on May Lane’, ongoing events in the Rosemary District, with a mission to foster community in the Rosemary District and support local businesses through a monthly block party that brings together the best of the neighborhood including arts, music, food & beverage.” 

Tucked away on May Lane in Sarasota’s Rosemary District - between the soon-to-be-built Bayside Club and Cityside Apartments - will be “Events on May Lane,” which includes “Music on May Lane” and “Night Market on May Lane,”premiering with its inaugural event on Dec 5th, 2019 from 4PM-8PM.

The night market will be a free, public event encouraging visitors to enjoy a bit of al fresco fun, eating, drinking and shopping, while enjoying live music and the cool night air.

The Night Markets will be held the first Thursday of every month, from 4 to 8 p.m.The December event will capture the spirit of the season, as guests stroll through a beautifully decorated holiday gift market, with its own Christmas tree farm, where you can purchase a tree, wreath, or choose a poinsettia for your home or office. 

Drop some of your gifts off at the wrapping station, while you grab a bite to eat and enjoy live music by Harpist, Natalie Wagner and Violinist, Jesse Stephenson, or by the Oceans 11 Big Band. The kids will want to stop by and drop their Christmas wish lists off to Santa Claus, of course!

 Adults will want to bring their own holiday lists, as they peruse holiday offerings from vendors including Suncoast Florist, Flare Up Lifestyle, Trollfairy Designs, Handcrafted Pottery by Van Balam, Beautycounter, Tweeds Suit Shop, Fixation Boutique, Crowned Free, Trikona Designs, Your Book Girl Jenn, GoodEarth PureSoaps, Unwind, and many more!

And, if all that shopping works up an appetite, visit The Overton or Spice Boys for dinner, and PopCraft with its organic popsicles, for dessert.

These monthly events will be free to the public and are family- and pet-friendly. After the December holiday gift market, each Night Market on May Lane event will feature artisanal and handmade goods, plants, jewelry, gifts, art and more, with each event supporting a local nonprofit.
